What exactly does Luxury Maternity mean? At Miette, Luxury Maternity means that we craft your entire maternity session around your vision and your style all with the purpose of providing a truly personalized experience that will make you look and feel beautiful and empowered!
Pregnancy is not an easy time for some women. Many do not feel like themselves. Our goal is to help you LOVE your pregnant figure and to embrace this time as a time of creation and power in your life. You will be able to look back on the gorgeous photos and feel proud and amazed at what you were able to achieve with your body. You will have beautiful products for your home such as prints you can proudly display or albums for more private images.
Most parents know they want newborn photos, but many don’t consider the beauty and lasting sentimental value of maternity photography. Although nine months may feel like nine years (especially toward the end), it’s actually a fleeting time. Every woman I’ve worked with has been so thankful to have high-end professional photos to record such a precious period of her life.
There are so many style options available to you if you choose a photographer with years of experience, a dedicated and private studio, and a background in fashion photography. Miette Photography offers that and more.

Step 1
DESIGN CONSULTATION
The planning stage! Here is where we will begin to craft your personalized session to create the maternity photos of your DREAMS. Either by video chat or phone call we will cover style, mood, lighting and scene concepts, fashion and even hair and makeup details. Are you looking for a romantic or ethereal look? Do you want semi-nude or nude photos? How about something a bit more dramatic with a high fashion flare? We will cover every detail to ensure that we exceed your expectations. At the end of the consultation you will receive a maternity style guide as well as full session planning guide so that you know you will arrive fully prepared on photoshoot day.
Step 2
THE PHOTOSHOOT
This is where we bring your vision to life! For the most luxurious experience, choose to work with our award-winning professional hair and make-up stylist who will make sure to give you the exact look you were hoping for. Next, step over to the stylist closet and choose from a wide range of looks including gorgeous Spanish silks, elegant form-fitting maternity dresses and even some options for a more casual look. If you have fashion items from your own wardrobe feel free to bring those as well. We will have time to accommodate as many style and outfit changes as you would like.
Posing is probably the biggest concern of my clients. But do not worry, you will be guided every step of the way on exactly how to pose, move, turn your head and even with facial expressions. Every one of my clients has told me that they walk in feeling a bit nervous but that within minutes they feel comfortable and confident.
This is a day for you to relax, enjoy some pampering and have a great time playing dress-up! Not only will it be a fun experience but you walk away feeling confident that you are in the hands of a professional.
Step 3
REVIEW SESSION
Approximately 7-10 days after your photoshoot you will return to the studio for an in-person review and design consultation session. Here you will choose from 40-50 final, fully edited images. As you choose your favorite images, I will provide artistic input on portrait groupings, placement in your home, and size given your budget and personal taste. Prior to the session you will receive my Wall Art Guide to get you thinking about how you would like to hang your images. If you prefer albums to prints, I will help you select the best album style for your images and will design a gorgeous, wedding album style book to artfully display all your favorite images from your session.
Step 4
PRODUCT DELIVERY
Your gorgeous, personalized products will be delivered directly to your home, professionally packaged and ready to hang. Whether you chose framed prints, an album, canvas, acrylic or digital files, you will have gorgeous fine art to hang in your home or hold in your hands. The results are guaranteed to impress your friends and loved ones and to give you lasting memories of a time in your life that is beautiful and fleeting.
