Today, I’m sure many of you are preparing for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving meal. Perhaps you’re traveling to see family and loved ones. It’s not always easy, but tomorrow is the day to think on all you’re thankful for. Where better to start than when gathered around a ton of food with family?

Most of us have probably have had at least one or two stressful holidays, whether its due to travel, or cooking fiascos, or, probably the most common culprits, our own siblings, parents, or kids. For some people it can be difficult to see the light at the end of the Turkey Day tunnel, but once the food fights have ended, the tryptophan cloud settles, and the wine kicks in, you’ll be feeling content and sleepy.

In this moment, take a second to give thanks for the people sitting around the table with you. They’re your family unit. Maybe your friends. Your people.

If you’ve got kids, you’ve probably already had a multitude of thankful moments among the chaos. But take another minute to give thanks for your children (even if you want to strangle them right now), or all the great memories you’re creating with them. Best holiday gift ever, I’ve found.

And now take a break from the meal prep to check out the newest baby to this family of seven! This girl makes her debut with her siblings. Wherever you are and whoever you’re with I hope your holiday is full of warmth and happiness. Happy Thanksgiving!
