Newborn sessions are the best. Just look at how adorable and sweet this little guy is. He was such a joy to have in my studio, and so was his sweet family. We had an incredible day, and I think the shots from the session speak for themselves. This little guy is such a cutie!
Boyish Charm
We have all seen those over-the-top newborn sessions that are all hot pink and polka dots, or blue, blue, blue, baseballs and dinosaurs and more blue. Those are cute, just like all of our old J.C. Penny’s or Sear’s sessions were cute. They all kind of age out though and can look dated in 20 years. This session was done in the perfect way to ensure that it won’t become dated. Keeping it classy and muted is the way to go. The pale blue and subtle boyish elements are the perfect way to create a timeless and beautiful session.
Simple, Simple, Simple Newborn
Simplicity is the other key. By keeping the backdrops and the colors muted, we made such a stunning session that will last forever. On top of that, you can keep the same simple theme throughout the six-month and one year sessions, and create a beautiful and cohesive album to display. You could even take similar shots from each and frame them. IF you are really on top of it, you could do some similar shots in your maternity session and put those in your album too. It is such a beautiful way to create a memory book that will last forever and flows.
