Blended families can get quite large – which means that there are a lot of opportunities for capturing the various interactions between family members. Kid to Kid, Dad to kids, Mom to baby, even the dog gets involved! They’re great because there is always something going on, and from my perspective as a photographer, I can usually just let things unfold and snap away with less direction than usual.
The two younger boys in this family are twins, and they made great use of the twigs laying around, repurposing them into swords for some exciting sword fights! The family included their dog – Beyla – in their photos. She had the sweetest happy dog face and was eager to play outside with everyone. We also captured Mom and Dad with their newest addition to the family – another boy! Such a beautiful, and growing, blended family.
The outdoor setting made for a more relaxed session and our timing was perfect for some late-afternoon sunlight. All in all, a very pretty Dallas afternoon! And yes, that is a car in the water in the last image. Car boat? Boat car? No idea.
