For many families, getting a group portrait is used in conjunction with an event or time period. Such as Christmas, when many people use these photos on or in their greeting cards. Other times, families get group portraits taken to mark the passage of time and to chronicle the growth of their children.
This photo shoot was important to this family on many levels. The past couple of years have been very hard for them as they recovered from a bad car accident. They’re so happy to be together and really wanted a way to celebrate their love, luck, and thankfulness for one another.
There was definitely a special bond between the youngest daughter and her grandfather. They had so much fun joking around together and were definitely the clowns of the family. There was a lot of laughter between the two of them.
I really love this family. They have inspired me so much.
