There is nothing like being able to see a family grow over the years, like this amazing family… welcoming a girl! That is one reason I love when Jayme has newborn sessions from families she has worked with before. Today’s blog is just that, only some of you might recognize this little nugget’s mama. At Last, A Girl!
One of the many perks of working with families throughout the various chapters of their lives is that you get to see all their kiddos grow, and be a part of welcoming their newest additions. This family is just that for Jayme. Not only did Jayme have the privilege of taking this gorgeous mama’s maternity photos, but she also did a session with the older siblings for this little angel. Let’s just say, this sweet girl had quite the welcoming committee waiting for her at home. She has two older brothers that anxiously awaited her arrival, and doused her in all their kiddo cuddles when she made her arrival! Such a special time for this incredible family.
Keep Coming Back
Not only is it so fun for Jayme to work with the same family over and over again, it really adds a level of comfortability for you and your family. Especially with the kids, being comfortable with your photographer is a secret weapon. Sometimes children have a hard time warming up and letting their personalities shine with a camera in their faces. If they recognize the person holding the camera, then it takes some of the mystery out of the picture. Especially with someone like Jayme. She is really so much fun for adults and kids. She makes everyone feel right at home in her studio and lets them play around. A lot of the weirdness and “warm-up time” is taken away, just because she is a blast, and knows just what everyone needs to feel their best in front of the camera.
