I am a big fan of newborn sessions. Arguably one of my favorite types of sessions. I am just in love with capturing all of the things that you are obsessed with about your newest baby. Whether it’s your first, second or seventh. It is the most amazing thing to capture, and so important. Your baby is only little for so long. It is a time you don’t want to miss capturing.
At home with your Newborn
Scheduling a session is only half the battle. You have to pick a place, a setting for you and your family that is comfortable enough that you will be expressive and relaxed! I know that studio sessions aren’t for everyone, some people lock up. So why not go to your home? Your home is your safe space, and bringing a photographer to your turf feels way less foreign. If you and your babies are comfortable, I am able to capture those personality-filled shots that you definitely want!
Baby Details and Siblings
Let’s be real, all your kids are your babies. They always will be. And, there are so many things that make them similar, and incredibly different from each other. You need to capture those. That is why I love these detail shots of this little guy. You can tell he is quite stoic, and just way too dapper in his little tie. Then when his big sister got involved, holy moly. She was hamming it up, and I am obsessed. These parents are going to have so much fun with these two personalities.
