As with the baby in my previous post, this newborn also has an impressive head full o’ hair. Not only that, but she had delightfully round cheeks and adorable fat rolls that only babies can pull off.
She slept through most of the shoot, and gave up several great sleepy smiles. There’s a lot of speculation on why babies smile in their sleep, but my favorite guess is that it’s thought to be a survival instinct, a reflex intended to make them look more appealing and keep them safer. I think we can all agree that this is inarguably true – just look:
She even slept while Dad was holding her. Must be hard work to look so cute 24/7. Try as I might, all my sleeping reflexes have never exactly been described as “appealing.” In any case, enjoy some blissful sleepy baby!
