I don’t know about you guys, but I have been loving all of these newborn baby boy sessions Jayme has sent over. It is so cool to see how each newborn session brings in that bit of boyish charm. They are all so unique and bring in their own special touches! This shoot was truly just so adorable and had this tiny angelic baby at the center of it. It is definitely easy to fall in love with this little angel.
A Certain Boyish Charm
This shoot is so stunning. Everything about it is gorgeous and warm and has just the right about of “boyish” in it. I have said it before, but the “Pinterest Vortex” can be easy to get caught in. It is very easy to hop online and get overwhelmed with the number of options there are for newborn sessions, and then want to bring all of the ideas into one session. Don’t do that! It is definitely a trap, and your session will look old in 10 years. We loved that this family kept it so simple with some soft grey and blues, it was just enough to have it as a little boy’s session, without having basketballs and monster trucks all around him.
Mom? Dad?
We cannot stress enough to you Mom’s and Dad’s… hop in those shots! You will love looking back on them and seeing how much you and your kiddo have changed over the years. Jayme will get the shots with both of you guys in them out of the way first, and then you will be home free to relax and enjoy the day. Hubbs can leave if he wants, and Mom can relax while Jayme keeps the shoot going. It’ll be a little break for you two!
