Chubby babies are the best. They’re so fun to photograph because it seems that with every new shot and angle, there’s so much fantastic roly-poly roundness to feature. Just what is it about plump babies that is so appealing to most of the female population? And why do we compare them to food?
Whatever the answer, this little lady is the epitome of the cherubic, chubby baby. She slept through most of the shoot like a champ, waking up so I could capture some deep, soulful stares as Mom and Dad held her. We had a fun time putting different headbands on her – somehow they just highlight those round cheeks and fat rolls in the best way possible.
Only time will tell if those cute cheeks stay with her as she grows, but she’s sure to be a charmer, just like her older brother. Maybe she’ll enjoy her cake a bit more than he did.
