I know fall is the time for family sessions, but I LOVE this maternity session. I just have to share it. Not only is it a beautiful session, but there are so many fun and simple things that make it unique.
Classic and Romantic
This session was simple and stunning. We kept it clean, classic, and timeless which allowed us to focus on the beauty of this mother-to-be. I have said this about newborn sessions, and it also applies to maternity sessions – keep the props and distractions to a minimum. I don’t want to take away from Mom during this by focusing too much on staging and props. Whether it is your first and only pregnancy or your last of four, each one is just as important.
Add A Flair
Going classic, timeless and clean does not mean you can’t have personality and flair. There are so many little things that can highlight your personality in a session without detracting from the main focus. In this session, this mom rocked her pink, floral dress which added a beautiful touch of warmth and color. The simple fitted dress worn with her fanciest heels also added a bit of flair. Her older baby brought so much fun into the room as well.
