Earlier this fall I got to photograph one of my favorite families for their holiday family portraits. I’ve been taking pictures of them for 8 years now, and they are just amazing to work with. As you can see from the photos below, these kids have SO much energy and are so much fun. Each one was fighting for the spotlight. They loved the jumping shots the most but were just as happy hamming it up with mom and dad.
And let’s talk for a moment about how awesomely styled they were. Mom always does an amazing job of picking out clothes and colors that look great. And believe it or not, these kids actually like to dress up and be “fancy.” I loved the bow ties, the coordinating grays for all the boys and Dad, and those awesome orange pants for a pop of color.
The urban location with its distinctive funky vibe was another great choice for this colorful family. The black and white building artwork in particular sets off their bright clothing choices and energetic personalities.
These guys are definitely not boring.
