Another stunning cozy newborn session to share with you guys today. Luckily, I have never met anyone who gets tired of seeing cute babies, me included. This little guy was very chill – so were his parents.
The Cozier the Better
Getting those adorable newborn shots is a blast but can take some time. The comfier the baby is, the better the session will go. Every mom LOVES the shots of their cozy newborn snoozing. That is when they are the most peaceful. When newborns are awake they are not in control of their movements, their facial expressions or their eyes! If we get them into a good little nap, they will be comfortable and not be bothered by anything!
Parent and Sibling Involvement
When parents and siblings want to be involved in the session at all, I am always thrilled. Those are some fun shots to look back on and remember what everyone was like and what everyone looked like when your newest friend came into the world. And, to make the day even easier, I like to do those shots first. If we can get Dad wrapped, and get all the shots you want with him, he can leave and go on with his day, if he needs to. Same with siblings – we can wrap Dad and siblings all at the same time- then no one gets restless.
