This session is so special. I love love how this family wanted to utilize one of the many unique locations in Dallas. And, the end result is so fun and unique with a truly “Dallas” touch. I am always always a fan of making use of the city we know and love.
Pioneer Plaza Downtown
We shot this session in Pioneer Plaza near the convention center in Downtown Dallas. We are so lucky because Dallas and the entire DFW Metroplex has some incredible and wildly unique areas and landmarks to play around with for sessions. For those that don’t know Pioneer Plaza is an area that was created to remember and honor the original settlers of Dallas. It is gorgeous and has a few really neat features to play around with. Most notably, is the bronze longhorns that are being led by cowboys. In addition, there is a waterfall and manmade cliffs. Not only is it beautiful, but you really can’t get much closer to the heart of the city.
Kids Love Being Outside
I always love and encourage doing sessions with kids outside. Older or younger, they all love being outside. I LOVE my studio, that is no secret. However, kids tend to thrive outside. They relax so much easier. The more they are relaxed, the more their personalities will shine in every shot. Thankfully, the DFW Metroplex has so many incredible and wildly unique locations to utilize. There. Is truly a location for everyone. No matter your style.
