This family. Holy moly, they are beautiful. I am so glad that I got to do this session. We got to take full advantage of the beautiful end-of-fall colors, and it was incredible. This crew got all dressed up and headed outside, for a warm Fall day.
Family Photos Matter
This session was extra special because this family hadn’t done a family portrait in quite a few years. So, for their first big group photo back, I am so grateful that I got to take their photos! Just look at these beautiful kids. Their brother-sister dynamic was just so cute, I am so so glad they got to capture these memories. They are starting to look like… not kids. I know that as a photographer, I am always pulling for family photos and kid photos. But, more importantly, as a Mom, I know that we will never regret investing in capturing how fast our beautiful kids grow up.
Don’t Just Leave Them Digital
Another piece of the puzzle that I am a HUGE advocate for is not leaving all of your photos digital. Digital is incredible because they are easy to share and send, but a physical copy is so much fun to look at. This mama decided that she wanted to take her session and turn the photos into cards and prints for their home and to send. More “old school” these days, but it is so fun to hold and look at your photos, as well as send them to loved ones that don’t get to see you and your kids often. It is a real treat for everyone.
