With the holidays fast-approaching my sessions are becoming families, families, families! And I am loving it. This family was such a treat, and their session turned out great. We had a blast going outside and getting the whole crew involved.
Bring the Whole Fam
This group wanted to get the whole family from out of town together for their session, and I think it was a great move. Not only is it always a good idea to have pictures of your kids with members of your family, but it is always a fun time. Even if your kids don’t remember taking the photos, you guys will always have the memories saved as a tangible reminder. Also, it is really cool to see the generations through the photos.
What do I Wear?
This is the big question for photo sessions. What do I wear?! Firstly, you have got to pick the vibe you want for your photos. Some people really want a formal portrait, others want Sunday-best clothes and some families just want the “this is us” look. Any of them work, as long as your personality is present. This family did an amazing job of making sure they looked nice and were comfortable. It really worked in the shoot and is a really good representation of their personalities.
