Holy moly… The family sessions are abundant, and I am loving it! Taking your family sessions outside is one of the best parts of spring. With this adorable family, we had a blast capturing their fun kids’ personalities and letting them shine through.
Older Kids are Fun Too
So many people forget to schedule family sessions with their kids once they are starting to get older. When they are new, they are just so cute and then you get into the hustle and bustle of soccer, basketball, dance and all of the other activities you are running to. But older kids are so much fun to capture, because they are coming into their own. Their personalities are really coming out, and they are figuring out what is important to them- and that shines in their photos. Even if what is most prominent is that preteen/ teen attitude, you will always tell stories about it, and have photo evidence for the years to come.
Every Family is Different
In addition to your kid’s personalities, it is so fun to capture the dynamic in your family. Every family interacts differently, and it’s great to get the opportunity to save that in photos. If your kids are best friends, or enemies- one day they will look back at the photos and remember what they were like as kids. Some kids are super grossed-out by their parents, and those shots are the ones that will bring laughter back when they are old and grey.
