It is certainly no secret that I LOVE newborn sessions. There is so much to love about having newborns in the studio, and capturing those memories that every parent wants to remember forever. However, there are a few things that make this girly session is a little different than a typical newborn session.
Older Newborn
This session is so fun. Usually the newborn sessions I share are between 5 days and 2 weeks old. So very very new and tiny. They usually sleep quite a bit, and are really easy to position for gorgeous photos. There really isn’t much fight from a nugget that small. However, this angel-like babe is around one month old. Her little personality is front and center, and she is way more aware than babies younger than her. And, not only is she an absolutely gorgeous little girl, but her temperament is PERFECT for an older newborn session. Typically, babes around her age can be fussy, making crazy faces and are wiggling their little arms all around. Not this exceptional baby. She is the tiny poster-child for older newborn sessions.
Soft and Girly Touches
Another beautiful thing about this newborn session is that is is just so soft and girly. There are a million ways to make a session girly, and a lot of times people throw in hot pink, glitter, unicorns and princess galore. That does not age well! By using soft pink, and gorgeous textures we created a beautiful girly session that will stand the test of time. You will never get tired of looking at these timeless shots.
