Another amazing maternity session for your day. This was a fun shoot. This mama-to-be came to me with a great maternity gown, and a stunning black dress. Maternity sessions can be scary for some. You’re not always feeling as stunning as you are. Which is why I love them so much – I get to be creative and to show moms-to-be how truly beautiful they are..
Bold and Beautiful
This session turned out stunning. We got the chance to do some shots that are almost color blocked. It brought in this incredible boldness that is so striking. You can tell, especially in the shots with the white background with the stunning black dress. They have such a classic boldness. We even brought in nature, which brings a whole new dimension. With the white lace against the greenery, oh my… just gorgeous.
White Wash Maternity
As a contrast to the color-block vibe are the shots that are almost white-washed. This mama slipped into the white lace dress, which brings in an amazing subtle detail. Lace is dainty and can be bold when shot the right way. When we stood her against the window with the soft drapes behind her… forget about it. So so beautiful. It really shows that you expecting ladies out there don’t have to go over the top to create that bold, glowing look.
