Sharing new work is one of my favorite things to do, second only to the time spent with my amazing clients during our photoshoots. Can you think of a better way to spend your day than with the precious cuties below? I’m excited to share these new toddler and newborn portraits and hope you enjoy them, as well as gain inspiration for your child’s portraits.

The Art of Child Photography

During my years making toddler and newborn portraits, I’ve learned a thing or two about working with kids. It takes a certain presence, patience and personality to get a child to warm up to the camera. All the hard work is worth it, however, when these joyous moments are captured on camera. Newborn photography, on the other hand, is a completely different experience and vibe. Instead of high energy toddler photos, everyone in the studio is focused on creating calm, cozy, comfortable moments. Both experiences are a blast, and my clients always walk away with great memories of their photoshoots.

Studio Toddler and Newborn Portraits

The freedom of working in a studio space with young kids means that all members of the family can have the time and space to get comfortable for their portraits. Working in a studio environment as opposed to an outdoor space is a great way to keep young kids focused. It also allows for more conceptual, creative portraits. Of course with newborns, the studio space is almost a necessity when it comes to a climate control, comfort and safety.

Your little one is growing fast, capture these precious moments while you can! If you’d like more information, please call or text me at 214.864.5787 or use my online contact form. I’ll get back to you quickly, usually within one day. I look forward to speaking with you.
