Is there anything cuter than newborn girl outfits? I have a son and a daughter and let me tell you, there are so many more options available for baby girls.

When I talk to a pregnant mama about her soon-to-be newborn photo session, we always discuss outfits and props. My style has been called minimalist, so while I embrace newborn girl outfits, I don’t want to overdo it. I want the focus of the image to be your precious baby, not a giant headband and half a dozen things around her. This can be a challenge for some parents because there are just so many adorable possibilities and a desire to include them all! But trust me, editing your selections really does look best.

Today, I’m sharing the photos from a recent photo session where Little Miss had quite a few outfit changes. From her pink tutu and a delicate headband to just a soft knitted hat, she is cute as can be with all her looks. But note, each frame manages to keep its clean look, never becoming cluttered or too much. In some of the images, I use a soft, nubbly blanket or two to increase the cozy look.

In my central Dallas studio, I have dozens of adorable newborn girl outfits (and boy!), from headbands to diaper covers. During my pre-shoot consultation with mom and dad, we discuss these choices as well as any items they may have purchased for the pictures. This assures your baby will have plenty of options and that we’re on the same page.

Are you expecting and looking for a Dallas newborn photographer for your little baby? I am usually booked several months in advance, but I always keep some places open for newborn sessions since babies come on their own timetable. Please text me at 214.864.5787 or use my online contact form and I’ll get back to you quickly, usually within 24 hours. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
