Photoshoot prep can be stressful. Many clients come to the studio and are extra nervous about their photoshoots and don’t give themselves the opportunity to get excited about the day and the end result. I don’t want that for you! I want to make sure every Mama-to-be that comes to my studio, is feeling like they are ready to roll and feels great about themselves. So, here are my two Holy Grail tips for getting ready for a maternity session.
I cannot stress this one enough. Most of us are already moisturizing daily, and if you’re not- this is your reminder. Moisturize, your skin will thank you. Especially right before a shoot. The camera tends to pick up on things like that, and I do my part to get rid of it in the editing. However, it is 100% easier if you moisturize before, and feel great about your skin. Then it is just one less thing to worry about, especially if you are planning on doing a nude or semi-nude session
Prep With The Things That Make You Feel Great
One of the biggest things is that you feel like yourself and that you feel confident. If you feel great, it will show in your photos. Whether your confidence boost is getting your nails done, hair fixed, makeup professionally done or you find the perfect outfit- do it! Your confidence and comfortability is a major factor in your session. Do what you need to do to feel great.
