What do Russian dolls and the Texas Rangers have in common? Nothing at all, unless you’re this little girl. Then you’ve got a lovely Russian mother and a father who’s a die-hard Texas Rangers fan.

It’s no surprise then, that they both wanted a little of their interests represented in their daughter’s photoshoot. After all, Mom’s Russian culture and traditions, as well as Dad’s baseball fandom, will no doubt be a big part of her life growing up. So it’s a common practice for parents to bring some pieces of who they are to their baby’s photography sessions. All parents have certain toys, clothes, past times, or interests that they feel are important to pass down to their children.

In this case, Mom wanted to showcase some traditional Russian clothes and toys, including a great oversized Russian doll. Dad wanted to show his love for his favorite team, and opted for a teeny baseball uniform for his daughter.

Who knows, maybe this little lady will play for the Rangers one day? In any case, she’ll clearly have quite a varied and interesting childhood!
