You never know what a toddler is going to get into, but you know for sure that they will have a ton of energy. This tyke was such a blast to have in my private Dallas studio. She was ready for it all and was running around having a blast.
Toddler in the Studio
Toddlers for sure have more energy than you can imagine but depending on the kid- they can also be apprehensive in front of a camera. My goal is to get them as comfortable as possible, so their cute budding-personalities can shine right through. A surefire way to make the whole process easier is scheduling your session in the studio. The studio is a calm, intimate space where we can all get to know each other. Sometimes kids take a minute to warm up to strangers, especially strangers pointing a camera at them. It is so much easier for them to adjust when the environment is super controlled. Plus there are so many fun things for them to see.
Dress for the Occasion
Little girls don’t have to wear hot pink to be “girly.” Just check out this nugget. Her tutu is so cute and added just the right amount of frills for a little girl session. Since we kept the additional pieces like her clothes, and the props used, to a minimum this little girls’ personality was the forefront of the shoot. Which is exactly how it should be. Too cute!
