Babies are absolutely adorable: so tiny, so squeezy, so kissable. What’s not to love? Many parents want to get professional photos taken of their newborns, and it’s one of my most popular age groups as a Dallas baby photographer.

But I love the toddler years so much, too, with the increased interaction, peals of laughter, fun games, and the continued emergence of their wonderful little personalities. There’s also the great pride in seeing your baby learn new skills, like pulling up, walking, and first words. Exciting times!

Today, I’m sharing a toddler girl photoshoot of an almost-one-year-old. Mom loves dressing her up and that showed through in our photos, from a purple tutu and layers of pearls to flower headband and ruffled top. This girl is an absolute doll.

As a mom of two and a 25-year veteran of this field, I think one of my most important gifts is being able to interact with kids of all ages and bring out lots of smiles. I genuinely enjoy children from newborns to teenagers. This toddler girl photoshoot went so smoothly in part because I was able to talk to this child and engage with her so well. I keep them having fun with a light mood and it shows.

It’s time to schedule with me so you can give photos as gifts over the holidays, which are almost here, believe it or not! My remaining sessions for the year are booking fast: I only have a few more left and those are in December. Call or text me on my mobile number, 214.864.5787, or use my web contact form if you are thinking about toddler photography in Dallas or another DFW suburb (please see the list of areas I serve). I’ve got lots of great ideas to share and more than 20 years of experience upon which to draw.
