Toddlers are not generally known for their easy-going, laid back personalities. They know what they want and how they want it. Beware to the person who stands in the way.
But I recently had the pleasure of capturing some smiles from an adorable little redhead boy, showing toddler photography can be full of happy faces. He laughed and giggled the whole time and only broke down at the very end. But even that proved to be a source for some hilarious shots of that breakdown with mom.
Red hair with blue eyes is the rarest combination in the world, making up just 1 percent of the earth’s population. Most redheads have brown, hazel, or green eyes. (Gingers also never go gray—they just fade to paler shades of red until they are silvery white. Who knew?) So of course, we needed to get lots of color photos to capture this handsome little guy’s coloring. So striking.
I also included some black-and-white photos to capture the emotion, tenderness, and laughter in the family relationship. This lucky boy has devoted, loving parents who think he hung the moon.
