I have decided that there is no better way to round-off my Month of Maternity posts than to give you all a little insight into what a maternity session with me would be like. It is important to feel confident in your photographer, comfortable in their work environment, and to trust them. So, here is some insight into how I work, and what you can expect when booking a maternity session with me.

I have been a photographer for many years and have been lucky enough to work in a few different fields. All of my experience has a role in my current style, but especially my past in High Fashion Photography. My experience in high fashion has really helped me create my timeless, classic, clean style, with a modern edge. I always always want to avoid trendy styles that will look dated in 10 years. I really want to create a shoot that you will be proud to show off, your entire life.
What to Expect at a Maternity Session…
If you are anything like me, you want to know what the process is going to look like. When you book a session with me, I always do an in-depth consultation beforehand. I do this for many reasons, but I think it is important to get to know each other, and for you to be able to bring your expectations and vision to the table. From there, I can offer suggestions, and we can create a session you are confident in.
On the day of our session, you should prepare in any way that makes you feel the most ready. Get your hair, nails, and make-up done or just roll up to the studio- whatever makes you feel best! Once you are ready, we will get the day moving. Along with your personal outfits, I will have options for nudity, semi-nude and I provide sheer fabrics and scarves that we can play around with. I never put a time limit on a session, so you will be able to do as many outfit changes as you like. I want both of us to feel great about the results, so we will play around until we get there.
