Time to bust out brightly colored eggs, toss candy in a basket, and have an old-fashioned Easter egg hunt. I don’t know about you, but sometimes it’s like the Easter Egg Hunger Games at my house. “May the odds be ever in your favor” has never been more applicable – to ME. Since I’m hoping to survive the sugary fallout of two competitive kids.

In addition to all the normal Easter traditions, it’s also about the family time for a lot of folks. Spring is settling in and if we’re lucky enough to avoid rain that day, we could have a lovely sunny day that’s not too hot. Perfect for playing outside, taking a walk, or riding a bike.

Spring weather is also perfect for family photos. Besides some picturesque parks that I’ve featured before, Dallas also has some areas with cool art and architectural features, like the Continental Avenue Bridge shown here in this set. This family wore their fun and funky colors to go with the bridge’s unique bold features.

The little girl in this set is no stranger to the camera – I took photos of her a while back in a special shoot where she wore her mom’s wedding dress. And she was every bit the bubbly character in this session that she was in that one. Only this time sporting faux fur instead of yards of satin.
