Happy May, Everyone! We have decided that Mother’s day isn’t enough. In honor of all you mama’s out there, we are going to be spending the month of May focusing on the incredible moms that Jayme gets to work with. Whether they are expecting their very first baby, or have been working with Jayme for years. We are going to show them off. Moms Can Keep It Casual
This gorgeous Mom’s session is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. So wildly gorgeous, and effortless, which is hard to accomplish. It is no secret that one of the hardest parts of making your session happen is choosing a style or direction for it. If you are really struggling with that, check out our blog we posted highlighting a couple of the most common and timeless looks that Jayme recommends for Maternity Sessions. There are some great options there! However, I am obsessed with how this mama decided to keep it so simple, casual and cozy for most of her session. Obviously, when you book a session you want to look great and feel great. But, you also want to look and feel like yourself. The more comfortable you are, the more natural and confident you will feel in front of the camera. This mom is proof that you can wear leggings and a sweater and look incredible in front of the camera. If that is what you like, rock it!
Maternity Looks
All of that being said, Jayme has a very unique setup and process for how she does sessions. With her having her own private studio, she has a lot of flexibility in how she works. One of her practices is that she doesn’t put time limits on her sessions, or limit outfit changes. Not only does that make it less stressful for everyone, but it really allows you to feel comfortable in the environment. And, it gives you the freedom to try a couple of different looks, and if you want to take a little risk- you can. If you don’t like it, you can change. The session can be all about you, and what makes you feel good!
