Fall is coming in HOT. Well… it will be. Technically, it is still summer for a minute, but it is the perfect time to start thinking about fall family sessions, like this one. We love love love this shoot, and how much fun this crew looked like they were having.
Fall is the Time
I know, it definitely feels a bit premature, since school just started, but… it really is the time to start thinking about your family sessions that you want for holiday card photos! Fall is one of the best times of year for taking your whole crew outside and snapping some photos. Doing your shoot outside in fall is stunning. Nature has a warmth and life to it during fall, that is so limited in North Texas. If you want that extra autumn pizazz added to your shoot, then definitely start thinking about it now. Dressing the Whole Family
All you mama’s know… scheduling the session is only half the battle. You gotta get them there in good moods, and in outfits that look great on camera! Thankfully, Jayme does send out a style guide before your session, so you will have a bit of help there. However, our biggest tips are to avoid small prints, and have your outfits “go” and not “match”. Avoid the all-white and khaki’s that has been worn on everyone’s beach vacation. Put you, your hubbs, and the kiddos in neutrals that go together, and show off their personalities. If your kiddos are comfortable, they will seem like themselves in the session. That is when we get those adorable shots of them playing around and throwing leaves. You will LOVE those shots! (For more style tips check out our blog about what to wear)
