Family sessions just warm my heart. There is nothing like being able to capture a family dynamic at home. This family is just a joy every time we get together. I have been doing their sessions since their little guy was a newborn. He has turned into quite a little ham, and I am loving it.
At Home
You guys know, I love a good at-home session. There are so many amazing benefits to bringing your photographer into your home. With this session, we were so lucky to have incredible natural light in this beautiful Lake Highlands house. Natural light is perfect for photo sessions. Since this house was drowning in natural light, we got to shoot in a few different spots. It created this amazing natural, candid vibe.
Natural is Hard
Being at home creates organic comfort for the people in front of the camera, especially the children. At your home, we get to capture the things that you just do naturally, that you will tell your kids about. Like with this mama feeding her adorable little man on her kitchen island with his little Mickey Mouse cup. On top of showing your “normal,” your style is in every inch of the photo. Your family’s personality is the integrity of the photo, and your home is a great contribution to that.
