A baby makes love stronger, the days shorter, the nights longer, savings smaller, and a home happier. There’s nothing like it and my work as a Dallas newborn photographer is all about capturing the love.

Today, I’m sharing in-house newborn photos of a family of four with their new baby boy. I’ve written about in-home newborn photos before and the considerations for making it a success. The homes best suited photography have lots of windows that let in natural light, open floor plans, and tall ceilings. The brighter, the better. Another consideration is temperature. Newborns need to be kept toasty, and all that natural light helps warm up the rooms. You can also consider a small space heater. If it’s warm outside, that makes for a great location for pictures, too.

For these newborn photos, we included the whole family, which I always think is a great idea. There are whole-family photos, pictures with mom and baby, and some including big brother, too. Of course, the star of quite a few of the photos is the baby boy. He was a little love and snoozed for most of our time together, which is totally normal for a newborn. For his solo shots, I wrapped him in gauzy fabrics and soft blankets while he slept. The last photo I’m sharing here is a collage of close-ups of this sweet boy. After all, who doesn’t love tiny toes and a little nose?
