This newborn love is EVERYTHING. Her cheeks are just too much and so stinking adorable. Not only is this little nugget so beautiful, but her parents were so sweet. Above all, I loved having them in my studio for the day.
Simple, Simple Newborn
If any of you keep up with the blog, you will know how much I preach that simplicity is key. The simpler the setup, the better, as far as I am concerned. When you dive into the really cutesy, prop-heavy, and overbearing aesthetic, you lose sight of the main focus. Most importantly, your baby’s face should be the focal point of the whole shoot, and heavy props take away from that. For this baby, we kept the background super simple and let her adorable face shine, while still letting her little outfits add a cute girly touch.
Mom and Dad
A newborn session isn’t complete without getting Mom and Dad involved, if you ask me. I love love love when parents get involved in the session. I know your little monkey is the star of the show, but for the memories, getting you two involved is priceless. They take no time, and you will look back on them forever. In. addition, so will your baby. Plus, they make great Christmas card photos
