The past few weeks have been full of gorgeous family sessions, in honor of the holidays and fun cards hitting our mailboxes. So, I think it is time for one of Jayme’s incredible newborn sessions to grace the blog, in preparation for the new year. Lemme tell you… this one is so cute. Frankly, it is almost too much to handle.
Snoozin’ Neutrals
When Jayme sent this session’s final pictures over for me to write about, I almost lost it. This sleepy little man is so so snuggly and loved up with his rabbit. It makes your heart warm to see. Jayme, Mom, and Dad also did an incredible job of picking colors that are just enough. They such gorgeous neutrals that create a beautiful, timeless and boyish look that will still look amazing in 15 years. They will truly age like fine wine.
House of Boys Welcome’s the New Guy
This family… well mostly the parents of the bunch… have their hands full! Super Mom has three boys, and just welcomed her fourth to the party. They all came to Jayme’s studio, ready to strike their pose. Not only did we get some amazing family shots of the older boys playing around with Dad and Mom. Jayme also grabbed some of them all welcoming the new guy. When newborn sessions, like this one, want to involve siblings and both parents, Jayme will generally grab those shots very first. That way Dad can bring the big kids in at the beginning, snag the shots, and then they are free to go. Sometimes kids (and sometimes dads) can get restless in the studio if they are there for too long. And, newborn sessions require a bit of time and patience.
