Well…. surprise!! I may have forgotten to mention in my last blog that the pregnant mama was actually having twins! Twice the work, twice the fun, twice the cuteness. I have got to say… twins are something else. Getting to have not only their mama back in the studio, but both of them here with her is so so special. We had a blast of a day, and the shots are so stinkin’ adorable.
Twins
It is just not every day that Jayme gets to have twin boys in her studio. I, for one, cannot believe that the Mom from our last blog really had twins in that belly. She is such a trooper, and gorgeous. To see how excited she and her hubby have been for these two angels to come into the world has been so incredible. This is one of the many perks of doing the First Year Albums, not only do we get to hang out with Mom and Dad and build a friendship with them, but we are also able to see them become parents and meet their littles. It brings a whole lotta joy to Jayme, to be able and capture these memories for you guys. Plus, she loves meeting the newest additions to your families.
Not All Newborn Photographers Are Created Equal
One thing we cannot stress enough is just how important it is for your newborn photographer to have experience in handling newborns. I know… that sounds like, “Well, obviously?” However, you guys would be so surprised at how some photographers dive into newborn sessions, without any training. Safety is Jayme’s number one concern when handling newborns. She has been a newborn photographer for nearly 20 years and has done extensive training. Including training with NICU nurses on the proper way to handle these tiny angels. Make sure you look into your photographer’s training before you book! Ask the hard questions!
