Little Guy
This tyke was a blast to have in my private studio in Dallas. He was as calm as can be and was not afraid of the camera. At six-months-old, kids can be either wildly curious or wildly terrified. The former is great for a session, this guy was unfazed by the whole process and even seemed to have a little bit of fun.
Is Six-Months Too Early to be a Fan?
I love the unique touches that were put into this session, and I love even more how subtle they are. I wrote a whole blog about props and avoiding heavy props, as well as a post about bringing in family ties. This session really combined both of those concepts. There are very few props, but the subtle touches send it over the top. By giving him a baseball, wearing a shirt that says, “little slugger” and his Kansas University shirt- you really get a feel for what this family is all about. Plus- when he is old and looks back on these photos, he will really know that he was a KU fan since birth.
