Got to do an in-home newborn session recently where the family’s fur baby puppy wanted to steal the show. You can even see him peeking through Mom and Dad’s heads in one shot. For many people, their pets are valued members of the family – there’s a reason we call them “fur babies” – and in-home sessions make it especially easy to include them in family portraits.
As cute as this little dog was, the main focus of the session was to feature the newest member of the family in their lovely home. This bright, mid-century home was beautifully decorated and full of light. The nursery was especially great. Lots of thought and love went into making this a pleasing space for baby and new parents.
Mom and Dad are just absolutely in love with their sweet baby, of course. They’ve opted for my Baby Plan, so I’ll be seeing them again for six-month and one-year sessions. Looking forward to watching their baby grow!
