You guys… look! The nugget from the last blog I posted is one! If you didn’t get to see his six-month shoot, go and give that a look. Seeing him grow up between the two sessions is seriously incredible. We had so much fun during this shoot, and I think it truly shows through these shots.
One Should be a Party
I don’t care what anyone says, there is no party like a first birthday party. Everyone is so excited, and you get to dive headfirst into a cake. It is kind of a kid’s dream. This little guy was LOVING the whole process. I mentioned in my last post how calm he was in the studio at six-months-old, and that hasn’t changed. He was having a blast. Plus, how cute is it that we brought back some of the same props?
Classic Cake Smash
The cake smash is just a classic move for a first birthday. Babies love getting messy, and it’s only cute to eat a whole cake with your hands when you’re little. This little guy was pretty unsure of the cake all over his hands at first, but once he got a lick he warmed up to the idea. A fun spin I like to put on the cake smash is the cleanup shots after. Take your little babe outside, and let them have fun in a tub. Truly turns out to be some of the cutest shots of all time.
